My teenager is anxious about their schoolwork and their future career prospects; how can I reassure them?

“The most important thing is to give time and space to explore their worries and to empower them to work on what they have control over – try and break the problem down into manageable bits – is a particular subject the problem, and then explore options that might help (speaking to their tutor or teacher about resources they could access) – remind them that all young people are facing these challenges and that schools and exam boards are aware of the problems that they have faced – there are some good resources here.”
