Below is a list of useful resources for children and young people to support their mental health and wellbeing.
ALPHA DECIPHer
ALPHA is a group of young people who advise researchers by discussing and debating their views on public health topics and research. Through training you will learn about research and public health, as well as other life skills. These can help you work out what you want to do next, and build up a good CV or application for college/university. ALPHA is open to anyone aged 14-25 living in Wales.

The Children’s Society: Become a Campaign Champion
As a Campaign Champion, you do whatever you can to elevate the voices of young people in your area including visiting local decision makers or organising events to spread the word. Training, connections and support will be provided.
The Children’s Society: Young carers' well-being and mental health
Many young carers experience difficulties due to the added stresses that come with their caring responsibilities. This site has lots of information and resources to help young carers take care of their mental health and look after their wellbeing.

An A3 poster designed for a younger audience highlighting common causes, symptoms and interventions while changing its focus from depression to that of 'low mood'.
Ditch The Label: Mental Health Hub
Ditch The Label is a global youth charity aimed at helping young people aged 12-25 to navigate the issues affecting them the most; from mental health and bullying to identity and relationships. The Mental Health Hub includes resources such as ‘How to talk to your mates about mental health’, ‘7 Tips on Overcoming Social Anxiety’, and ‘Retraumatization and Racism’.
Just Like Us
Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people's charity. Their annual initiative, School Diversity Week, empowers school staff and pupils across the UK to tackle homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying by organising activities that celebrate LGBT+ equality in education.
KeepCool
KeepCool is a series of educational videos designed to help young people learn about and cope with strong emotions. It has been created by young people for young people, and it is backed by science. KeepCool focuses on fundamental emotions like anxiety, sadness, and anger rather than psychiatric disorders.
Mind: Information for Young People 11-18
Includes information and resources to help young people understand mental health and wellbeing, feelings and experiences, and what legal rights you have for your mental health.
Mind: LGBTIQ+ mental health
Information about mental health support for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer or questioning (LGBTIQ+).
No Panic
No Panic is a registered charity that helps and supports those living with Panic Attacks, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and other related anxiety disorders. Downloadable resources include a wellness toolkit, coming out of lockdown fears, how to ease morning anxiety
