Action For Children: The Blues Programme
The Blues Programme is an internationally acclaimed wellbeing programme for young people aged 13-19. Over six weeks, it teaches emotional resilience, and reduces low mood and anxious thoughts. The programme involves a one-hour group session at school each week, plus home tasks. Students learn how to challenge negative thoughts, and talk about different coping strategies.

National Children’s Bureau: Schools Wellbeing Partnership
A national network of nearly 50 member organisations from the education, health and wellbeing, and children's sectors. The Partnership works to improve the wellbeing of all children in education.

Nip In The Bud
Nip in the Bud makes short films to help teaching staff, parents and others looking after or working with primary school children spot potential mental health conditions, allowing the conditions to be “nipped in the bud” and not becoming entrenched. Information Films with accompanying fact sheets about ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, Conduct Disorder, Depression, PTSD and OCD in children are freely accessible on the website.

Place2Be: Mental Health Champions – Foundation programme
This online children’s mental health training course developed from Place2Be's work in schools, enhances professionals’ understanding of children’s mental health and introduces approaches that foster positive wellbeing in schools and communities. This course is suitable for people working with children and young people of any age, including primary and secondary. The course is free to qualified teachers and school-based staff in the UK.
